I didin't expect that I will get 90 in our periodical exam in TLE because during the test, I am crumming to finish all the items. Unluckily, the test paper given to me, the second page was nothing, I mean the whole page was blank so I need to share from my seatmate.(grrr..kainis!)
Just right after checking our test paper in TLE, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz, our subject teacher taught us about HTML, HTML file, different tags, mark-up tags, page addresses, HTML editors, W3C so with the most essential web standards.
We did our first activity on HTML which was the basic HTML tags last September 4. My only problem was the activity sheet so I was hard-up in encoding this activity. Just imagine the font size so with its size, it was very “makaulaw” (you know! Hahaha!) but I just did my very best to finish this activity so that I would not run out of time.
Every after we finished our hands-on activity, the next day or that day, we must do our written activity. This was to write all the tags used and not only that, you must also write the definition or function of each tag.

After 2 weeks
BLOGS!-this was the topic we tackled in the past two weeks.
I learned how to create my own account in blogs. During our hands-on, I created my own with the guide of our teacher. I encoded our seatwork #2. I also learned how to put/change the template or design on my profile so with to add a page element whether it is a picture, text, media, link and others.
We submitted some of our most beautiful pictures (oowwzz??) to Mrs. Vera Cruz for her to scan for our photos in our blogs.
I added some lyrics of songs and a song which I got from mp3-codes.com... :-)
My only problem is that we do not have enough time to edit my profile and to add anything else. But I did my best to encode faster so that I would not run out of time.8-)
We have a seminar last July16 and 17 at the Audio Visual Room sponsored by the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) about Home Nursing and Disaster Management. This was attended by some CAT officers. I enjoyed it very much since it has a Mini-Graduation.
July was the Nutrition Month Celebration. As a part of it, we participated the Food Festival which I think the most enjoyable of all the activities. We grouped our selves and our group was composed of eight persons, Jamaica, Emerald, Ruth-ann, Paul, Stella (JERPS), Suzette, Jiezl, and me. We decided to sell “miki” since it is delicious, nutritious, and affordable. Luckily, it was well done.

My First Blog(Katreen)
1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?
From our TLE IV lessons, I learned many things, important events and persons involved in the history of the internet. I also learned about the internet services and tools like the electronic mail, discussion groups or the newsgroups, long-distance computing, informatyion publishing and research, the wide-area information services or what we call the WAIS and the last is the World Wide Web or WWW in short. I learned the difference between web server and web browser. I discovered that URL is the correct term for the address used by a web browser. I learned the different data types such as text files, graphic files and the multimedia. Another one is using search engines which includes the steps in using it, translation of the search request into search terms and others.
2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?
During our activity-mining the internet, we applied what we have learned but it was hard for us to find the right answer and another problem was the time. We were only given les than an hour to search to search.
3. How did I addressed these challenges?
Me and my groupmate did our best to find the right answers. We tried and tried. We didn't give up in searching. We wrote faster to go to the next question. We must not stay at one question for a long period of time.
4. Moving on I will. . .
Moving on I will do my best to conquer all these challenges especially on this topic.
